RE(dis)COVERED

The Film

RE(dis)COVERED: A Recovery Journey is a new documentary series from Faces & Voices of Recovery.

Substance use disorder (SUD) affects people in all walks of life, but so does the power of recovery. People in recovery from SUD represent every imaginable race, culture and gender. We work, worship and play alongside them; we count them amongst our neighbors, family and friends.

Each episode of RE(dis)COVERED celebrates the true story of a person in long-term recovery from SUD. You will gain insight into the subject’s upbringing, factors contributing to the onset of chaotic substance use, and first-hand perspective throughout from friends and family members.

Most importantly, you will bear witness to the powerful and inspiring account of how each of these individuals has transcended his or her difficult circumstances to find and maintain their long-term recovery, reclaim their wellness and rediscover their true selves.
